The Chemical Brothers have been doing it for almost thirty years, however, their music remains as innovative today as it was in the 90s. Not only did they just release their 10th studio album, they’re still a major draw on the festival circuit as well. Now, one of the legendary electronic duo’s more recent releases gets a fresh remix from a house music veteran.

UK House maestro Chris Lake has just released his blistering new remix of “No Reason.” Taking the funk and rhythm of the original as well as the iconic bassline, Chris Lake takes a retro sounding track onto the modern dancefloor. The Chemical Brothers original rendition is a wonderful track, but the Chris Lake remix really makes it feel like a modern dancefloor heater.

The Chris Lake remix of the Chemical Brothers’ “No Reason” is out now on Universal.
