Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) service on the Yellow Line in eastern Contra Costa County was restored after an earlier problem Tuesday morning, officials said.
Around 6:20 p.m., the agency announced service was stopped between the Antioch and Pittsburg/Bay Point station. Officials said there was an equipment problem on the track.
During the closure, riders were directed to use Tri Delta Transit bus service between the stations.
At 9:20 a.m., BART said normal train operations between the stations was restored and the system was recovering.
Additional details about the issue were not immediately available.
