George Stephanopoulos goes casual during time off GMA with wild hair in new at-home photo

George Stephanopoulos took the casual route in a recent picture on social media.

His wife Ali Wentworth shared a behind-the-scenes look into how the pair spend their downtime.

George was spotted wearing a striped gray and white T-shirt, black glasses, and in contrast to his typical gelled-down hair on Good Morning America, the star was spotted with loose, volumized hair.

Ali also looked relaxed with a button-up gray t-shirt and black glasses as she took the selfie in their home while the duo played a game.

She captioned the post: “Please don’t tell George I posted this… but Rummikub is the only thing I continually beat him at. Maybe I’M the smart one? Shhhhhh……”

Chelsea Handler commented on the post: “I believe I beat George at Rummikub as well. But, he beat me once also.”

George was last seen co-anchoring GMA on July 17. Robin Roberts was last spotted on GMA on July 16 and Michael Strahan on July 20.

The popular trio, all seemingly on vacation or other assignments, haven’t been on air together since July 16, and none of their whereabouts have been mentioned on the show or on social media. 

Since then, Rebecca Jarvis, Whit Johnson and Rachel Scott have stepped in to temporarily cover them for the time being.

Fans react

Not only were followers fans of the game itself, but they loved seeing the pair enjoying some quality time together.

One person wrote: “Well – it’s an elite game. Nothing gives me more joy than racking up an embarrassing amount of tiles when I can’t hit 30- and then crushing my loved ones,” as Ali replied: “Yes!!!!!”

A second fan added: “That is a family favorite around our house. We love that game.”

Another follower wrote: “I just love the serene and wholesome scene…two people that enjoy each other’s company.” Someone else joked: “Go gurl, don’t let him get ahead.”

One follower hilariously wrote: “Love seeing another couple where one posts to social and the other finds out because someone tells on them.”

The couple that rests together, stays together

In June and July, the duo visited Greece together, which has become a nostalgic tradition for them.

Ali gushed online: “We were engaged here and come every summer…Saga Po Greece.”

The pair have been married since 2001 and they welcomed their daughters Elliott, born in 2002, as well as Harper, born in 2005, into the world together.

Robin’s and Michael’s whereabouts

It is currently unknown where both Robin and Michael are as well. Robin was last seen at the ESPY Awards in NYC on July 15.

Michael recently shared a video online featuring his new partnership with Capital One Business and he was included in the brand’s online video series called The Entrepreneur Playbook.
