A woman, who was walking along I-95 in Ridley Park, was killed by a driver early Sunday, police said.

According to police, a woman walking along the southbound lanes of I-95, between Wanamaker and Stewart avenues in Ridley Park, just south of the Philadelphia International Airport, was struck and killed by a vehicle at about 3 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025.

During the early hours of Sunday, police from several departments in the area gathered at a Royal Farms store in Ridley Park as they investigated the incident.
