Scientology Network’s VOICES FOR HUMANITY, the weekly series presenting heroic change-makers from a variety of faiths, cultures and nations, working to uplift communities, announces a new episode featuring activist Rosalba Cordero.

Mexico has become a killing field—nearly a hundred murders every day while Mexican prisons serve as “colleges of crime” with over 80 percent of those released returning to criminality. Saving Mexico’s future by salvaging youth, Rosalba and José Cordero fight against moral decline that enables Mexico’s drug cartels to traffic kids into a life of organized crime. Their campaigns in schools and prisons across Mexico carry a powerful message of moral values, bringing new hope for their nation.

ABOUT ROSALBA CORDERO

Born in Mexico City, Rosalba recognized at a young age that many crimes and injustices stemmed from lack of basic moral values. Rosalba vowed to find some way to spare children from the trauma she suffered. Discovering The Way to Happiness, a common-sense guide to better living, Rosalba and husband José founded a nonprofit to forward the book’s precepts. Their Social Development and Recovery of Values Association educates young people in schools and across Mexico’s prison system. Using The Way to Happiness, Rosalba and José have created real criminal reform in prisons across Mexico State and Mexico City—with 99 percent of graduates of the program living lives free of crime. Their efforts to restore morality and peace have earned them recognition by the Mexican federal government.
