This Is the Winter Trend Practically Every Celebrity Is Obsessed With

This is going to be difficult, but I will refrain from making any Matrix comparisons in this story (oops, does that count?). Celebrities are fully embracing a dramatic, kind of uncomfortable trend this winter, and what it lacks in comfort it makes up for in coolness. Leather clothing—real or faux—has become a favorite trend this season of everyone from Rihanna to Taylor Swift to Kylie Jenner. And I’m not talking about just a basic leather jacket—I’m talking about significant pieces of clothing such as a trench coat or a dress. 

A few things that I’ve noticed about the dressed-up trend is that black is the leather color of choice, and it’s usually worn after dark.
