The Tamarron master-planned community in Katy ranked as the top-selling Houston-area MPC on RCLCO Real Estate Consulting’s Mid-2025 Top 50.
The D.R. Horton community recorded 594 sales during the first half of the year, a 16% increase over the first half of 2025. That made Tamarron the top-selling MPC in the Houston area — and the state of Texas — plus the No. 6 community in the United States.
Also in the top 10 nationally were Bridgeland in Cypress and Sunterra in Katy. Bridgeland, a Howard Hughes community, ranked No. 9 with 500 sales (up 14% year over year); Sunterra, a Land Tejas/Starwood Land development, ranked No. 10 with 450 sales (down 17% year over year).
In 2025, Sunterra was the top Houston-area MPC at No. 5, followed by Tamarron and Bridgeland at Nos. 9 and 11, respectively. Regardless of slight fluctuations in ranking, all three MPCs are on track to maintain their positions as the top three communities in Houston for full-year 2026.
Further down RCLCO’s list were Anniston (No. 18) from Friendswood Development Company with 313 sales; Meridiana (No. 24) from Rise Communities with 276 sales; The Grand Prairie (No. 35) from EMBER with 259 sales; Elyson (No. 43) from Brookfield Properties with 227 sales; Sienna (No. 46) from Johnson Development, Toll Brothers and GTIS with 223 sales; and Jordan Ranch (No. 49) from Johnson Development with 207 sales.
With strong sales in nine Houston-area communities, the metro ranked as the top-performing area in the country, accounting for 16% of all sales in RCLCO’s Top 50.
Florida was the top-performing state, making up 44% of all ranked sales. Texas followed at 31%. The Villages MPC in central Florida maintained its rank as the top-selling community; with 1,800 sales in the first half of the year — up 12% year over year — it’s on track to keep that rank at year’s end.
