Amazon has brought back its popular ‘Shop with Points’ promo for Amex cardholders. This promotion is normally targeted, but you can quickly check the link below to see if you are eligible. This time around most people should be eligible, and you can use the offer to shop during Prime Big Deal Days.
Offers might vary from one account to the other, and we normally see anything between 10% and 50%. My offer shows a 40% discount, for maximum savings of $40. Some people are seeing a discount of 50%, for maximum savings of $75. The discount should work for third party gift cards sold on Amazon as well. You just need to use Membership Rewards points for part of your purchases, and it looks like you can use as little as 1 point. Check out the details below.

How it Works
Redeem your promotional discount in 3 easy steps:
- Enroll your Amex membership Rewards card if you haven’t already done so.
- Click on the “Activate now” button here to activate this promotion and apply points to your next order. You MUST click on the button to receive the promotion credit.
- Add one or more of eligible products sold & shipped by Amazon.com to your shopping cart. You can redeem on multiple purchases.
- Use Membership Rewards points at checkout. To redeem this offer, you must redeem at least 1 Membership Rewards point.
- Savings will show on the final order checkout page if the items in your order are eligible for the promotion

Another great promotion from Amazon. It only works for products shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Just make sure you activate the promotion first and use at least 1 Membership Rewards point. Using points on Amazon is not a good idea, as you get terrible value. So make sure it doesn’t default to paying your whole order with Amex points.
