Sen. James Lankford Drops A Diss Bomb On Elon Musk

    [ad_1]

Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) responded to Elon Musk’s lies about the border bill by telling him to focus on the 2 million Teslas that are being recalled.

What Did James Lankford Say About Elon Musk?

On CNN, Jake Tapper asked Sen. Lankford, “A claim being circulated on Twitter by Elon Musk, who posted the long-term goal of the so-called border security bill, is enabling illegals to vote. It would do the total opposite of securing the border. I know Elon Musk is not an expert on illegal immigration or the border. But he has a huge megaphone. Explained what he is talking about. Is he wrong? ”

Lankford responded, “He needs to go back to doing the 2 million Teslas currently being recalled to be able to focus on that. It is not focused on trying to get more illegals to vote. That is absurd. It is against the law for anyone that is not a citizen of the United States to be able to vote in the U.S. In any federal election. That remains so. We are not dealing with that. I’ve heard people say you are not taking on illegal voting. So I’m going to oppose the bill. Neither did HR 2  that came out of the House that so many people said was the perfect border security bill. It also did not deal with any issues of voting because the bill was seen as a border security bill not a voting issue bill. ”

One of the biggest changes since Elon Musk bought Twitter has been the reputational damage that Musk has done to himself and his companies with his social media posts. Musk has revealed himself to be a fool who spreads hatred, division, and misinformation in his posts.

Sen. Lankford was the principal negotiator for Senate Republicans on the border bill. He is also just about as conservative as it gets in Congress.

Lankford has spent months negotiating with Senate Democrats and the White House on this substantial and historic legislation only to watch members of his own party lie about it and refuse to put the bill up for a vote in the House.

The Senator seems frustrated, and he clearly isn’t going to take any crap from Elon Musk.

  • Republicans Bust Mike Johnson On A Border Bill Big Lie

Republicans Bust Mike Johnson On A Border Bill Big Lie

    [ad_1]

Speaker Mike Johnson claimed that Republicans were cut out of the negotiations on the border bill, but Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) said Johnson was invited but refused.

Did Mike Johnson Lie About The Border Bill?

Johnson tried to paint the House as being in the dark about the border bill negotiations on Meet The Press, “Well, you’re addressing some of the rumors about what are in this text. It’s been negotiated behind closed doors by a small handful of persons, and even most of the members of the Senate don’t know what’s in it.”

However, CNN’s Manu Raju reported, “One other note here, Johnson has complained, including today, that the House was essentially shut out of these negotiations. Lankford told me that the senators actually offered Mike Johnson the ability to sit down for the negotiations. Johnson said the House has already spoken, referring to that same bill, HR 2. And Johnson was loosely briefed, according to Lankford, over the course of several months.”

    Video:

House Republicans could have participated in this process and helped shape a bipartisan landmark bill that could become and deliver long-overdue immigration reform to the United States. Instead, Speaker Johnson chose to play politics and lie to the American people about it.

If the border bill fails, and it is likely to, it will be because Donald Trump and House Republicans killed it. If Johnson believed that the border bill was terrible, he would not have to lie to the American people about it.
Mike Johnson claims to be a Christian, but he is just another MAGA liar who worships Donald Trump.

  • House Republicans Admit They Are Blocking Border Bill To Hurt Biden’s Approval Rating

House Republicans Admit They Are Blocking Border Bill To Hurt Biden’s Approval Rating

    [ad_1]

A House Republican told reporters that the reason why they are blocking a bill to help with the border is because it will keep Biden’s approval rating low.

    Video:

Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) told CNN, “Why would we do anything right now to help her with that 33%? Do you believe if Joe Biden’s approval rating was at 53%, we would even be talking about the border? We won’t be talking about the southern border, but he has to do something because he’s hemorrhaging. He’s bleeding. So what he’s going to try to do is try to come up with some border security plan bipartisan through the Senate.”

House Republicans are admitting that the “border crisis” isn’t really about the border. The border crisis is an attempt to keep President Biden’s approval rating low, so that the GOP has a better chance of winning the election in November.

Republicans view the border bill as nothing, but politics. The motivation to pass the bill because it might be good for the country, which would make it good for them doesn’t exist.

House Republicans are willing to damage America to hurt Joe Biden’s approval rating, as they seem to have forgotten that they are being paid to govern, not use the Congress as an electoral platform.

Republicans got everything they wanted reportedly in the border bill and still said no, because the border is really about Biden.
