A swimmer who went missing at Woodward Reservoir was found dead on Sunday, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office said the swimmer, a 27-year-old man, was seen struggling in the water around 1:51 p.m. and a dive team began a search near Mountainview Point. The sheriff’s office told KCRA 3 around 4:45 p.m. that the body had been found. According to the sheriff’s office, there were no other swimmers involved and this was not a boating accident. The man was swimming from one shore to another.
