Silva Design, founded by Kristy Barrett in 2015, is launching its newest, limited stock collection of eleven handcrafted rustic wedding and family gifts this January 30th. Silva Design aims to be part of the journey your family takes. A new house isn’t a home until your Silva Design pieces return the warmth to blank walls.
With each collection, Barrett begins the process of creating her one of a kind signs by cutting quality spruce pine to showcase its natural wood grain.

With the Arcadian Collection, Barrett flipped her process on its end and performed a reverse white wash. This captured her signature farmhouse design and added vintage flair. The resulting look is easily her best work reminiscent of white-washed church siding, and running barefoot along dirt roads.
Like all her pieces, Barrett personally assembles, sands, distresses, and walnut-stains the farmhouse signs to lasting perfection. The natural wood enhances the country home decor making the Arcadian Collection the perfect gift for home-town heroes and travelers carrying a piece of home wherever they go.
