Goodyear Arts is presenting Unsilent Night on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This is a free event.
Unsilent Night, a multi-track electronic, ambient piece composed by Phil Kline, is a participatory sound walk that’s become a holiday tradition around the world. Unsilent Night has been performed all over the world, every December since 1992.
Participants bring a charged smartphone and a bluetooth speaker. As they walk together through Camp North End, they create what’s described as a “roving sound wash,” or a “mobile sound sculpture.”
Apple cider and snacks will be provided prior to the performance. Goodyear Arts is at 301 Camp Road, Suite 200, Charlotte, North Carolina, in the Mount District of Camp North End.
Physical and cash donations for Ourbridge Charlotte are encouraged. Ourbridge supports immigrant kids.
