One person died Sunday night after a crash in Rocky Mount.
According to authorities, the crash happened on US-64 Alternate and Springfield Road and involved two cars.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation says US-64 Alt is closed in both directions near Springfield Road near Rocky Mount
The cause of the crash is unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
