A man was shot Sunday morning just before 6:00 a.m. in the 700 block of Brighton Road, in the Hope Valley neighborhood in Durham.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Durham police.
An adult male was arrested by Durham police in connection to the shooting.
