Joey King Said “I Do” in a Unique Plunging Gown Covered in Petals

Joey King married director Steven Piet in Mallorca, Spain, on Sept. 4, tying the knot in front of her closest friends and family. Working with her go-to stylist and friend Jared Eng, the actor channeled her unique style into her wedding wardrobe throughout the weekend. She stunned in four different bridal looks from Oscar de la Renta, including the breathtaking petal number she walked down the aisle in.

For her rehearsal dinner the day prior, King stepped out in an intricate lace gown with a tulle skirt, embroidered with flowers all over. She described it as “the perfect dress to tease the looks to come” in her Vogue Weddings recount. The grand ceremony look was next: King said “I do” in a striking romantic gown with unique embellishments. The silhouette was classic, with a strapless neckline and ballgown skirt, while the design featured large flower petal ornaments resembling scales. She kept her hair and makeup simple, letting the couture detailing do the talking.

King chose a “sexy and romantic” fairy-like look for the reception, combining elements from her first two dresses of the weekend. Her corseted halter gown came with a tiered tulle skirt and embroidered silk vines embedded along the top of her dress. The vines were even incorporated into King’s hair. The groom, Piet, complemented the bride accordingly, wearing an ivory tuxedo jacket with a black bowtie and trousers. Lastly, the day after her wedding, King wore a casual crochet dress from the designer for a pool day with her loved ones.
