Hollywood on the Coast Food & Wine Festival Arrives on June 13 – LAmag

Led by a world-class team of Los Angeles chefs, the debut culinary event will also feature quality cocktails, live entertainment and a Santa Monica backdrop

The Los Angeles culinary scene has a new summer marquee event to delight in starting tomorrow. Santa Monica’s Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows will host the first annual Hollywood on the Coast Food & Wine Festival — and an all-star team of chefs has teamed up to make it a resplendent debut.

A lineup of L.A.’s best and brightest cooks curated by host chef Neal Fraser promises a high-end variety of culinary experiences, complemented by premium wines and craft cocktails. Live entertainment is also set to keep attendees — an expected upwards of 750 of them — thoroughly enthralled throughout.

Among the stellar chefs contributing to Hollywood on the Coast’s mosaic of tasting experiences are television stars, Michelin Guide veterans and bestselling authors well-versed in the gourmet cuisine world, in L.A. and far beyond.

And beyond the event’s one-of-a-kind culinary and cocktail delights, attendees will be happy to know it’s all for a good cause. Hollywood on the Coast will give 100% of the proceeds from the evening to two organizations committed to giving back. 

The first, Variety — The Children’s Charity of Southern California, provides mobility equipment, healthcare support, and essential services for children with physical, developmental and economic challenges. Meanwhile, the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation works to support behind-the-scenes workers on sets and movie theater employees through financial assistance, counseling and education.

The Saturday night event is still in the cards, even for those who haven’t got their tickets yet.
