OHIO — Brutal heat and humidity arrive Monday, with afternoon temperatures forecast to reach 90 degrees across much of the state.
Heat indices could top 100 degrees across western Ohio Monday afternoon.
It gets even warmer Tuesday through Thursday, with many areas seeing highs in the mid 90s and heat index values peaking between 103-108 degrees.
Take breaks from the heat, stay hydrated, and make sure pets are safe.
The heat wave will last through at least Friday, with some parts of the state still seeing highs in the lower 90s for the Fourth of July.
