The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office confirmed a report Tuesday of an active shooter at the Augusta Mall.
The sheriff’s office said they currently have two subjects in custody, and the mall is now closed until further notice.

Sheriff’s deputies urged people to avoid the area, the department said in a statement.
The Richmond County Marshals Office also said it responded to the shooting.
