Evacuation orders and warnings lifted for Combie Fire in Nevada County
All evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted for the Combie Fire in Nevada County, according to officials.
The fire is burning in the area of Highway 49 at Sharonjack Road near Lake of the Pines, according to Cal Fire. At around 7:02 p.m., the fire is 20% contained at 16.8 acres.
Evacuation orders and issues were lifted after 7:05 p.m.
The sheriff’s office said a temporary evacuation point for animals was set up at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley.
A road closure is also in place at Sharonjack Road and Highway 49.
Cal Fire said damage to structures and injuries were not reported in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
