YBOR CITY, Fla. — The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts celebrates 25 years this weekend, and it is throwing a party at the museum.
Everyone is invited.
The museum started out in Hyde Park Village in 2001 and later moved to downtown Tampa before joining the Ybor City community three years ago.
“Yeah, it’s been great being in Ybor City, we have amazing neighbors,” said Clara Tanberge, the museum’s executive director. “We see a lot more people coming in, we see the community has really come alive. We have a lot of support. People really see this as their local photography hub, where they can meet other friends who are into photography or in art in general.”
The party starts at 10 a.m. Saturday and runs until 5 p.m.
The address is 1630 E. 7th Avenue in Ybor.
