Peabody flying 75 new American flags this month

PEABODY — The city has put up 75 American flags on posts lining major streets in honor of the country’s 250th birthday.

Resident Scott Aulson advocated for the display and worked with the Peabody Municipal Light Plant and the mayor’s office to get them installed in time for the Fourth, according to a statement from PMLP.
