General Info
Speedway Christmas is taking place from November 21, 2025, through January 4, 2026, with the exception of Christmas Eve. It is open on Christmas Day.
Hours are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The light show is along a 4 mile drive-thru course. The lights are synchronized to Christmas music that you can listen to from your car radio.
There are more than 800 individual displays, including some that are eight stories tall. All in all, more than 4 million lights are in play.
The infield Christmas Village will return November 21-23, November 27-30, December 4-7, December 11-14, December 18-23, and December 25-28. Visitors can exit their cars and enjoy holiday activities like:
- Cook Out Tubing Hill
- Photos with Santa
- Race Car Selfie Station
- Santa’s Workshop
- Ice Maze
- Merchandise vendors
- Food vendors and a bar
- Lighted Tree Pathway
- Atrium Health 360 Camera
Cook Out Tubing Hill
This year the Cook Out Tubing Hill is in the infield, whenever the Christmas Village is open. It costs $15 for unlimited one-day rides. Tickets will be available inside the Christmas Village.
Movie Nights
Any night that the Christmas Village is open, enjoy classic Christmas movies on the 16,000 square foot SpeedwayTV. Check back soon for the movie schedule.
- Nov. 21-23: The Santa Claus
- Nov. 27-30: Elf, presented by AutoBell
- Dec. 4-7: Home Alone 2, presented by Food Lion
- Dec.11-14: A Christmas Story, presented by Bojangles
- Dec.18-23: How the Grinch Stole Christmas, presented by Dilling HVAC
- Dec. 25-28: Polar Express, presented by Cook Out
Tickets for Speedway Christmas
The price for Speedway Christmas varies, depending on the day of the week. The price is per vehicle. It starts from $46.41 per car, and goes up from there depending on the day of the week and how close it is to Christmas. You can have a maximum of 15 people in a car. So if you know someone with a big van, you can save money by going with them!

Season Passes
For the first time, Speedway Christmas is offering a season pass. All season passes must be purchased online. A season pass for the Express Lane costs $200. A season pass for the general admission lanes costs $125. Anyone who presents a season pass must also present an ID matching the purchaser’s name.
BCBS Drive Out Hunger — December 1
Donate six (per car) of any of the following items to get FREE admission. All food will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
Requested items include healthy canned goods like:
- Vegetables: tomatoes, green beans, carrots, corn, yuca
- Meats: chicken, salmon, tuna, pork
- Beans: pinto, black, kidney, cannellini, chickpeas, baked beans
- Soups: tomato, beef stew, chicken noodle
- Dairy: evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, media crema, coconut milk
Food Lion Feeds — December 7
Donate 5 non-perishable food items (per car) and receive $10 off entry for that night.
If you already have a ticket and you donate $5 or more then guests will receive a Speedway Christmas ticket that can be used for any future 2026 Speedway Christmas date.
Time saving tips for Speedway Christmas
- Go Mon-Wed. There shouldn’t be as much of a wait. Second choice: Sunday or Thursday.
- If you want to go Friday or Saturday, go EARLY. Get there before it opens.
- If your time is scarce, but money isn’t, you can get a fastpass for some of the nights.
Mobile tickets will be accepted.
