Twenty-nine-year-old killed in crash in north Fort Worth, police say

A 29-year-old man was killed early Saturday in a crash on Interstate 35W in north Fort Worth, police say.

A 29-year-old man was killed early Saturday in a crash on Interstate 35W in north Fort Worth, police said.

Officers were called to a major accident in the northbound lanes of I-35W at Western Center Boulevard at 1:20 a.m. At least two vehicles were involved, and one of the drivers died at the scene. The other driver appeared to be mostly uninjured, according to police.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the man who died as Terry Scott-Jones. The Traffic Investigation Unit is looking into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The northbound lanes of the highway were closed for several hours afterward but reopened by 5:15 a.m.
