Body found in creek near Beaverton MAX station: police

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Officials are investigating after a dead body was found near a Beaverton MAX station early Saturday morning.

Just before 7:30 a.m., Beaverton police told KOIN 6 News they received a report that an adult man was found face down in a creek near Southwest Elmonica and 170th Avenue.

Authorities say the medical and dive team are currently on the scene.

No other information has been released at this time.
