Naked man streaks across Disneyland ride

A man was arrested after getting naked at Disneyland Park in California, police said.

Officers responded to the theme park in Anaheim just after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday to help Disneyland security with a guest who had removed his clothes and “was naked in or near” the “It’s a Small Word” ride, Jonathan McClintock, a spokesman for the Anaheim Police Department told the Los Angeles Times.

The 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and being under the influence of a controlled substance, police said.

He was first taken to the hospital as a precaution, McClintock told the Times. He did not provide the man’s name or any other details to the newspaper.

Newsweek has contacted the Anaheim Police Department and Disneyland for further comment via email.

Some Disneyland guests took to social media to post about the incident.

Footage posted on Instagram shows a man walking around the boat ride’s sets, as Christmas music plays in the background. The video also shows the man’s clothes and shoes in a pile on the floor.

“When you get stuck on small world, weird things happen lol he just pushed the boat behind us.. he is just some guy,” an Instagram user with the handle @iheartdisneyland wrote in a caption to the video.

“We were stuck on the ride for about an hour and 15 minutes. Thankfully we are safe and we got off safely.”

Another video on Instagram shows the man sitting next to a group of singing animatronic dolls.

“Stop! You’re going to get hurt, stop, stop… I need you to stop, please, just sit down,” a person can be heard shouting at the man in a clip shared on the platform by user @magic.with.maegra.

“Guys please don’t do this it’s not only is it’s dangerous for you it’s dangerous to everyone on the ride,” the user wrote in a comment on the video.

In a comment on the post, the user added that the man “ended up running off the ride naked but safely got detained by security and went off in an ambulance to get help.”

Another video posted on X, formerly Twitter, shows a man completely naked, wading into the water near the ride’s entrance.

“I AM ON SMALL WORLD AND THERE WAS A STREAKER, I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING,” Ashley Esqueda wrote in another post on the platform.

Disneyland officials told KTLA that the man had stepped out of the ride’s vehicle while the attraction was in operation. Employees stopped the ride as soon as they were made aware of the situation, according to the station.
