I Spent 3 Hours Trying On Discounted Fall Basics at Nordstrom— 15 Won Me Over

In the blink of an eye, it’s almost August, which means it’s practically September, which means it’s basically October. I don’t know about you, but I’m teetering on the edge at the thought of having to revamp my whole wardrobe as temperatures start cooling down. While transitional weather dressing can be some of the easiest to dress for, in my opinion, it’s some of the hardest to buy: with every single brand and retailer offering their take on timeless basics and elevated fall pieces, how can one possibly chose the best cardigan out of the hundreds on the market? The answer: you have a friend (me!) go in, try them all on, and give you the low-down. 

Now that Nordstrom’s anniversary sale is in full swing with deals lasting up until August 6, I headed on over to the flagship New York City to check out some of the best cant-miss deals on fall essentials like jeans, jackets, knits, and tops.
