After two matchless days it’s time to check back in with our final 8 teams.
And today looks like it could be a relatively relaxed day, Japan has been playing really well so I think even with a potential height difference to deal with they stand a good chance winning against Sweden. I have no clue how Spain vs. Netherlands might go, but I also am not invested because I believe whoever faces Japan in the semis will likely loose so not forming any attachments on this side of the bracket.
What is happening:
Playing in Wellington (Wellington Regional Stadium, 39’000 seats):
Spain – Netherlands 6pm PDT / 8pm CDT / 9pm EDT / 1am UTC / 3am CEST / 1pm local time
Playing in Auckland (Eden Park, 48’276 seats):
Japan – Sweden 12:30am PDT / 2:30am CDT / 3:30am EDT / 7:30am UTC / 9:30am CEST / 7:30pm local time

Do you want chaos or all quarter finals without penalty shootouts?
No penalty shootouts would be great, let’s do that!
