There’s nothing cuter than a baby animal. Okay, maybe human babies are comparable (LOL!), but still… puppies, kittens, foals, and piglets -to name a few- are so adorable that we can’t resist them. In this story, a small figure was spotted by a woman on the side of the road. She had no idea what it was! She knew it was alive because it was moving, but it didn’t look like any animal she had seen before. The woman safely pulled over and exited her vehicle to investigate.
As she approached, she noticed the small black figure was in distress. It was a bear cub with something stuck on his head. Once close enough, she realized it was a plastic jug! The poor thing could suffocate. The woman, on the lookout for potential danger from a protective mama bear, knew she had to help the defenseless baby.
The kind lady grabbed the jug and attempted to pull it off the cub, but it was tightly attached. The frightened baby bear began to lash about, unsure if the woman was there to help or hurt him further. The woman gently spoke to him, “You’re okay. You’re okay,” trying to settle him down. And after a few persistent tugs, the baby bear was free! He looked at the woman, stunned. He didn’t understand what was happening!
The cub slowly scooted beneath the rail on the roadside. The woman didn’t want to leave him just yet. She continued to talk to him, “You alright, baby? You okay?” The bear stared back, lost and confused. The lady told him to get going, but he just sat there frozen.
