The first week of “Married At First Sight” sure did start and end with a bang as we watched some of the new contestants put their hearts on the line and marry a complete stranger.
Experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla sifted through thousands of applicants and supposedly found some great matches — or ‘The One’, as many participants are apparently searching for — but we’re not sold just yet.
There are a lot of loud personalities so far, so is it just going to be another season of partner-swapping and dramatic exits? Only time will tell, but the first week didn’t disappoint on the drama side of things.
So far we’ve seen a cheating scandal erupt at Bronte and Harrison’s wedding after one guest made the revelation that Harrison had been messaging a 20-year-old on the outside. Then there was Claire’s explosive exit at her honeymoon after ‘husband’ Jesse indirectly called her a walking ‘ick’. And let’s not forget the mystery surrounding what Adam does for work, something ‘wife’ Janelle can’t comprehend — and honestly, I don’t blame her.
But there have been some magical moments, like when we saw sparks fly between Ollie and Tahnee the moment they locked eyes at the altar, and Cam’s heartwarming reaction to Lyndall’s cystic fibrosis diagnosis.
With more weddings and honeymoons still to come, you might be wondering “when is MAFS on?” Here’s when you can watch all the drama unfold.
What Time Is MAFS On Tonight?
“Married At First Sight” airs at 7.00 pm on Sunday and Monday — Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now. The final four singles will exchange vows on Sunday, February 5 before the first dinner party kicks off on Monday, February 6.
