Andy Cohen has shared one of the biggest “royal” regrets of his time as a talk show host.
Speaking to the crowd at the ‘Ask Andy’ panel at BravoCon 2023, he explained he had been too quick to dismiss a certain guest from the lineup of his Bravo show Watch What Happens Live, who ended up making it bigger than anyone could have ever imagined.
He was speaking, of course, about Meghan Markle, who is now the Duchess of Sussex.

“It was when she was on Suits,” the talk show host recalled. “I didn’t watch Suits. And I guess she was pitched and we passed.
“As my executive producer said, ‘You really never know who is going to become a duchess.'”
He has clearly thought a lot about the mistaken snub over the years, adding that he has deep regret when he thinks “there could be clips of Meghan Markle keke-ing with me, doing a shot and talking about [The Real Housewives of Orange County star] Vicki Gunvalson? “.

Though there is always room for second chances, Cohen doesn’t seem to think so in his case, sharing that he doesn’t think the royal would be up for an interview now.
“I think she’s kind of done with it,” he said forlornly before adding, “You know what by the way? I don’t blame her. ‘You passed on me then, you want me now?’ No.”
