CLEVELAND (WJW) – Every child deserves a roof over their head, enough to eat, clean diapers and lots of love.

That is the mantra for one Cleveland woman, who used to walk through the streets of Cleveland, handing out free necessities to young mothers in need.

Now, the look of her mission may have changed, but the goal is still the same. In this week’s Voices of Unity segment, FOX 8’s Jennifer Jordan talked to the woman who is making it her life’s work to provide for young moms, when family and public assistance aren’t enough.

Every Wednesday, inside the Alexander Hamilton Rec Center on Kinsman Road in Cleveland, young mothers are able to shop for milk, diapers, baby clothes, car seats and much more, absolutely free of charge.
