Coupa has named Devon Tivona head of travel and expense, according to a company spokesperson.

Tivona, who joined Coupa upon its acquisition of travel booking technology Pana, which he cofounded, already was head of travel for Coupa. His new role follows the departure of VP of product management Valerie Layman, who similarly joined Coupa following its acquisition of Yapta and was leading its strategic development in the travel category. Coupa launched its travel booking module, built from the Pana acquisition, earlier this year.

Tivona will be working “to drive a seamless traveler experience and help businesses around the globe manage and optimize their spend,” he said in a statement. “On the Coupa Travel and Coupa Expenses team, our vision has always been to unify full source-to-pay for the travel category, making it effortless for customers to maximize T&E savings.”
