Tipping for food service used to be straightforward. Customers generally added around 20 percent to restaurant bills, dropped spare change in tip jars and had cash on hand for pizza deliveries and takeout. But delivery apps and other technologies have upended all this.
When and where do you tend to tip? Are you sometimes confused about how much you should tip, or if you should tip at all?
