The White Lotus season 3 is currently slated to start filming in February in Thailand. Mike White finished the scripts for the season after the WGA strike ended but before the SAG-AFTRA one concluded, so HBO jumped into casting the day the actors’ strike was over.
Before the strikes, it was announced Natasha Rothwell would return to reprise her season 1 role in season 3.
Thirteen new roles are being cast for the new season, according to Deadline: “nine of them [are] series regulars — ranging in ages between 18-80s — with a patriarch, a corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers, a misfit and a yogi.”
