Even with Thanksgiving coming late this year on Thursday, November 27, there’s still not enough time for some to whip up a traditional holiday meal because, well, they just don’t want to. Fortunately, plenty of Chicago restaurants have gotten the hint and are offering Thanksgiving specials that will please even the fussiest family members, from lavish buffets to family-style feasts.
The following restaurants in and around Chicago — which occupy the unceded traditional homelands of the Kiikaapoi, Peoria, Kaskaskia, Bodéwadmiakiwen (Potawatomi), and Myaamia tribes — still have reservations available and will offer turkey with all the traditional fixin’s, pies, and more. And perhaps best of all, there will be no fights over who has to do the dishes. Look who’s thankful, now.
