SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — With the holidays coming in the next few months, it’s never too late to plan for the big ball drop on New Year’s Eve. An iconic electronic dance music trio is performing on Dec. 31 in San Francisco.
Swedish House Mafia is set to headline a show at Pier 80 on New Year’s Eve, concert promoter Goldenvoice announced in a press news release. The concert is a 21+ event only and will be held inside the Pier 80 warehouse on 401 Cesar Chavez St.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. PT. The pre-sale goes live on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Registration for the pre-sale is now open.
This is Swedish House Mafia’s only confirmed performance in the United States before the new year, Goldenvoice said.

Music icon Sting to headline Super Bowl concert series in SF
Swedish House Mafia, comprised of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, was formed in 2008 and the first electronic act to headline and sell out Madison Square Garden in New York, according to Goldenvoice.
Goldenvoice is also the organizer of the annual Portola Music Festival. The NYE show is also promoted by NPU Live.
