In 2022, Network Ten announced that they were casting not one, not two, but three Bachelors for its completely revamped tenth season.
The fairy lights? GONE. The candle-lit Rose Ceremonies? Cancelled! Over! Host Osher Günsberg declared on “The Project” that Season 10 of “The Bachelors Australia” would be “The Bachelor” like you’d never seen it before. But, that was back in May and then… we never saw it?
As the months went on, Network Ten pushed “The Bachelors Australia” back, serving us “Hunted Australia“, “The Real Love Boat“, “The Traitors” and “The Challenge” instead. It began to seem that when they said “out with the old, in with the new”, they really meant it! Were we ever going to see “The Bachelors Australia”?
Now, at long last, “The Bachelors Australia” is just days away from premiering and, after months of getting into new shows, we’re ready to go back to what’s tried and true TBH!
Our Bachelors this year are sports commentator and marketing manager Felix Von Hofe, drummer Jed McIntosh, and restaurant manager Thomas Malucelli. Each Bachelor has several women vying for his affection but, if the trailer is anything to go by, we’re in for some mess along the way.
There’s girls who want to swap Bachelors, girls rejecting Bachelors, and just generally a more dynamic, less linear path to love than previous iterations of the long-running reality dating competition. But, if the promos are anything to go by, at least one Bachelor will pop the question by the end of the season.
Will Felix, Jed, and Thomas soon join the ranks of happy and successful “Bachelor Australia” couples of the past, like Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich, Sam Wood and Snezana Markoski, Matty J and Laura Byrne, Locky Gilbert and Irena Srbinovska and Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston? Or will we have a Honey Badger (or three?!) on our hands?
There’s only one way to find out but, until then, let’s meet our Bachelors and the women looking for love on this season of “The Bachelors Australia.”
