Lady Louise Windsor is continuing to compete in the National Carriage Driving Championships at the Ashfields Carriage and Polo Club and on Saturday, she was joined by her rumoured boyfriend, Felix da Silva-Clamp. Felix had seemingly been absent from the first day, but was on hand to cheer on the royal as she managed to get herself into a bronze medal position ahead of the competition’s final day, which will be on Sunday. Friday saw the dressage event, while Saturday was a marathon stage; the final stage will be the ‘cones’.

Speaking to HELLO!, an onlooker described Felix’s support for the royal with the student “cheering and clapping from the sidelines”. They added that Felix “did a fist pump as she went through the water” and was “keen to see [Lady Louise] progress in the sport.” Felix was also described as “protective” over his rumoured partner and that the duo had enjoyed a “nice lunch” together before the event.

On how the royal fared in the event, they said: “Lady Louise was elated, [she] broke into a lovely little grin afterwards. She’s now lying in third place, just has the cones tomorrow.” They continued: “They then watched the other competitors after Lady Louise’s event. No security, [they were] just a couple of fans, cheering competitors on, noting what they do.

They described the pair as being “mindful” of showing overt expressions of love, but that people could “tell they’re very close”. In response to Lady Louise’s parents, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, leaving the royal and Felix alone, the onlooker remarked: “[It’s nice to see them] getting on with their lives without that parental influence.”

  • Prince Edward’s Daughter’s New Role Could Change the Royal Family’s Future Forever

Prince Edward’s Daughter’s New Role Could Change the Royal Family’s Future Forever

    [ad_1]

At just 20 years old, Lady Louise Windsor‘s title could see her taking the royal family to new heights. According to a royal commentator, King Charles‘ youngest niece is being hailed as a new potential savior for the Firm.

The youngest granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth, Louise is currently studying at St. Andrews University in Scotland—the same place where Kate Middleton and Prince William famously met and started their romance. Unlike her cousins Beatrice and Eugenie, Louise and her younger brother, James, weren’t brought up with the titles of princess or prince. Their parents, Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, decided early on that their children should be prepared to work for a living.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh explained their approach in an interview with The Times, saying, “We try to bring them up with the understanding they are very likely to have to work for a living. Hence we made the decision not to use HRH titles.” However, this doesn’t mean that Lady Louise doesn’t have the option to use a royal title: “They have them and can decide to use them from 18, but I think it’s highly unlikely,” Duchess Sophie explained.

Despite not having a royal title, Louise has been making waves. She’s often seen at major royal gatherings like Christmas and Easter royal walkabouts alongside her parents. Most recently, she made an appearance at Buckingham Palace’s annual Trooping the Colour event in honor of her uncle’s birthday.

According to PR expert Alison Lancaster, promoting Louise to a more prominent role within the royal family could be a game-changer. “The idea of Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall, and Lady Louise Windsor stepping up as working royals […] is a fascinating proposition packed with intriguing possibilities and potential pitfalls to navigate,” Lancaster told GB News.

“From where I’m sitting the upside is clear,” Lancaster continued. “We’re talking about injecting some much-needed freshness and relatability into that very stuffy, very traditional monarchy machine.”

The royal commentator went on to note that figures like Lady Louise represent the future of the monarchy. “These four ladies aren’t your typical tiaras-and-tea set,” she explained. “They’re smart, accomplished young women with their own identities and passion projects already resonating in the real world.”

Speculation about Lady Louise’s title comes as her parents, Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, have taken on increasing responsibilities within the royal family following King Charles’ and Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnoses. The pair have reportedly been dubbed as somewhat of a new “chosen couple” by King Charles, with one royal commentator even calling Duchess Sophie the “royal family’s secret weapon” in an Us Weekly report. Meanwhile, Prince Edward reportedly feels “really privileged” to attend public-facing royal events “on behalf” of King Charles III and Prince William.

While Louise isn’t a senior working royal yet, her potential contributions could set the stage for a better future for the royal family. Who knows—she might just redefine what it means to be a working royal. Only time will tell!

King Charles to overlook Eugenie and Beatrice for working royal promotion, expert claims

    [ad_1]

In Royal Family news, King Charles is reportedly set to snub his nieces Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice for a promotion to working royals.

This is because he is reportedly eyeing up Lady Louise Windsor as an addition to the working royals roster – once she has finished her studies, that is.

Royal Family news: King Charles to snub Eugenie and Beatrice?

The King is eyeing up some new royals to add to the working royal roster next year. However, he is set to overlook Eugenie and Beatrice, according to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams.

Beatrice and Eugenie have been tipped for working royal roles in the past. Earlier this year, it was reported that emergency meetings had been held over whether to get the sisters to help out with some of the engagements and ease the burden on other working royals.

However, Richard doesn’t think Charles will end up adding them to the royal work rota.

Speaking on GB News, he reasoned that it was because their father, Prince Andrew, is in “disgrace” that they’re not going to get a look in.

“I think it would have been a different situation if Andrew had not been in disgrace. But as it is, I don’t think that is likely,” he said.

Royal Family news: King Charles to gift Lady Louise Windsor with a promotion?

However, there is one royal who could be getting a call-up soon – Lady Louise Windsor.

The 20-year-old is currently studying at St Andrews University – the same uni that William and Kate met in the early noughties.

“There might be the possibility of Lady Louise Windsor [becoming a working royal] once she has finished her studies,” Fitzwilliams then told the news outlet.

However, Eugenie in particular could play a different role for the King. Andrew’s youngest daughter is very close to Prince Harry – and could be used to help bridge the gap between the Sussexes and the royals.

“Princess Eugenie knows what she is doing. The fact she is close to the Sussexes could be an advantage. You need a foot in both camps. One day they will hope for a peaceful resolution so that could be very useful,” Fitzwilliams added.

ED! has contacted Buckingham Palace for comment.

William ‘won’t be mending rifts’ in 2024

In other royal news, a reconciliation between Prince William and his brother, Prince Harry doesn’t look to be on the cards in 2024, according to a psychic.

Speaking on behalf of SpinGenie, astrologer Inbaal Honigman, doesn’t forsee any reunions between Harry and William in her tarot cards.

“We’ll be hearing more directly from the heir to the throne in 2024. The communicative Queen of Swords card says that he will be taking speaking roles more regularly. He will be giving speeches and talks, communicating directly with the press and those around him,” Inbaal said.

“His cards are successful and sociable, centering William himself as the main character in this era,” she later said.

“There doesn’t appear to be any mending of family rifts indicated in his Tarot reading for 2024.”
