Seven new lawsuits have been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, including one alleging the rape of a 13-year-old girl. They come as his lawyers tried again Monday to get him freed on bail — and complained that a “fresh wave of publicity” is endangering his right to a fair criminal trial.

In the lawsuits filed Sunday in state and federal courts, four men and three women, all anonymous, allege they were sexually assaulted by Combs at parties over the last two decades.

Combs, 54, has pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking charges contained in an indictment unsealed the day after his Sept. 16 arrest. Charges include allegations he coerced and abused women for years, aided by associates and employees, and silenced victims through blackmail and violence, including kidnapping, arson and physical beatings.

He has remained incarcerated pending a May 5 trial after two judges denied bail in rulings being appealed to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Combs’ lawyers asked a judge Sunday to order potential witnesses and their lawyers to stop making statements that could prevent a fair trial.

“As the Court is aware, Mr. Combs has been the target of an unending stream of allegations by prospective witnesses and their counsel in the press,” they wrote. “These prospective witnesses and their lawyers have made numerous inflammatory extrajudicial statements aimed at assassinating Mr. Combs’s character in the press.”

The latest lawsuits are drawn from what lawyers say are more than 100 accusers who are planning legal action against Combs. Plaintiffs’ lawyer Tony Buzbee announced the planned litigation at an Oct. 1 news conference and posted a 1-800 number for accusers to call.

As before, Combs’ representatives dismissed the latest lawsuits as “clear attempts to garner publicity.” They said Combs and his legal team “have full confidence in the facts, their legal defences, and the integrity of the judicial process.”

Combs “has never sexually assaulted anyone — adult or minor, man or woman,” they added.

One of the lawsuits filed Sunday alleges that a 13-year-old girl who was invited to a party by a limousine driver after the Video Music Awards in Manhattan in September 2000 was raped by a “male celebrity” and then by Combs as individuals identified only as “Celebrity A,” a male, and “Celebrity B,” a female, watched.

Another lawsuit alleged that Combs sexually assaulted a 17-year-old male at a Manhattan hotel penthouse party in 2022.

In the lawsuits, it was alleged that the plaintiffs believed they had been fed drinks laced with drugs before they were assaulted.

Meanwhile, lawyers for Combs on Monday told the 2nd Circuit in a filing that he’ll renew his bail application before the lower court based on “significant changed circumstances.” They said the issues include “constitutional concerns stemming from his conditions of confinement and evidence contained in recently produced discovery.”

In a filing last week, prosecutors told the appeals court that judges denied bail after evidence showed Combs “used methodical and sophisticated means to silence and intimidate witnesses throughout the racketeering conspiracy and during the Government’s investigation.”

More than a hundred new sexual assault allegations have been made against Sean “Diddy” Combs, with a Texas lawyer revealing he’s representing 120 accusers who have shared dozens of new, shocking claims.

Texas-based lawyer Tony Buzbee held a press conference Tuesday, saying “we will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates.”

“Many powerful people … many dirty secrets,” the lawyer said of the allegations, per NBC News. He said his team has “collected pictures, video, texts,” and that the list of names collected “will shock you.”

On Friday, Buzbee’s law firm announced it is representing more than 50 accusers who approached them with “gut-wrenching” stories from what they witnessed at the rapper’s alleged “freak off” parties.

He described the allegations as “mindboggling” [sic] and “debauchery and depravity, exacted by powerful people against minors and the weak.”

He also wrote that he expects many other people to be implicated as the case and other lawsuits grow and move through the court system.

By Tuesday, the number of people taken on by Buzbee Law Firm and the AVA Law Group had more than doubled, Buzbee said. He also said that more than 3,000 people have contacted his office with accusations against Combs and that they will be filing lawsuits in various states.

“I ask that we treat these brave individuals with the dignity and compassion that they deserve as they go through this trying time,” he said during Tuesday’s press conference. “Further, I’m also asking that if you have been victimized, or are a witness to the alleged behaviour, please come forward. Your identify will remain confidential at this time.”

“The biggest secret in the entertainment industry, that really wasn’t a secret at all, has finally been revealed to the world,” Buzbee said. “The wall of silence has now been broken.”

Buzbee said that 62 per cent of this new group of accusers identify as African American, are split equally between men and women and that the youngest was nine years old at the time of occurrence. He added that 25 of the current accusers were minors at the time of the incidents, which date back to as early as 1991.

Following the news conference in Texas, an lawyer for Combs said the performer “cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.”

“That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors,” attorney Erica Wolff said in a statement to The Associated Press. “He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

Tuesday’s announcement is the latest in a growing mountain of lawsuits against the disgraced musician.

Last week it was announced that another woman had sued Combs, alleging the music mogul and his head of security raped her and recorded it on video at his New York recording studio in 2001. The news came one week after he was arrested and a federal sex trafficking indictment against him was unsealed.

According to the indictment, Combs’ “freak offs” often involved narcotic drugs including ketamine, ecstasy and GHB. U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams said the drugs were used to keep victims “obedient and compliant.”

The alleged “freak offs” were often so physically demanding that Combs apparently stocked IV treatments for those who needed to recover. The music mogul was arrested on Sept. 16 on racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution charges.

Combs remains jailed in New York after being denied bail twice. He pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. His lawyer said he is innocent and will fight to clear his name.

The first lawsuit was filed by Combs’ former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, last November. Ventura said she endured years of sexual, physical and emotional abuse at the hands of Combs.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs: New lawsuit alleges sexual abuse of college student in ’90s – National | Globalnews.ca

A woman who says Sean “Diddy” Combs subjected her to violence and abuse over several years in the 1990s has filed a lawsuit in New York accusing the rapper of sexual assault, battery and gender-motivated violence.

April Lampros, who met Combs in 1994 when she was a college student, described several “terrifying sexual encounters” with him including being forced to take ecstasy and have sex with Combs’ late former girlfriend Kim Porter.

Lampros’ lawsuit, filed Thursday in state court in Manhattan, comes after a series of allegations against the embattled hip-hop mogul. A former model accused Combs of sexually assaulting her at his New York City recording studio in 2003 in a separate lawsuit filed earlier this week.

Lampros, 51, said in the lawsuit that she was a student at New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology when she met Combs, who showered her with gifts and promised to help her achieve her dream of a career in fashion.

The relationship turned abusive and coercive, according to the lawsuit.

Lampros said Combs raped her in a Manhattan hotel room in 1995. She passed out and woke up the next morning “nude, sore, and confused,” according to the suit.

On another occasion, Lampros said, Combs forced her to perform oral sex on him in a parking garage in full view of a worker at the garage.

Combs forced Lampros and Porter to have sex with each other in his apartment in 1996 after he had shoved ecstasy pills down their throats, according to the lawsuit.

“Ms. Lampros vocally opposed this idea, but Mr. Combs quickly reminded her that she had no control over the situation as he could make her lose her job,” the lawsuit said.

Porter died of pneumonia in 2018.

A message seeking comment on Lampros’ accusations was sent to a lawyer for Combs.

The Associated Press does not typically identify victims of sexual assault by name unless they publicly identify themselves, as Lampros has.

The lawsuits filed by Lampros and the former model come days after CNN aired security video that shows Combs attacking singer Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel hallway in 2016. Combs on Sunday released a video admitting he attacked Cassie in the hotel hallway, saying he was “truly sorry” and his actions were “inexcusable.”

A lawsuit filed by Cassie in November alleging beatings and abuse was settled a day after it was filed. It prompted increased scrutiny of Combs, with additional lawsuits filed in the following months, along with a federal criminal sex-trafficking investigation that led to raids of Combs’ mansions in Los Angeles and Miami.
