Suspects wanted for doing viral ‘Door Kick Challenge’ in Royersford, police say

Police in Royersford, Montgomery County, said Monday they are looking for a group of suspects who damaged residents’ property as they participated in the viral “Door Kick Challenge.”

The “Door Kick Challenge” takes ding-dong-ditching a step further as perpetrators kick other people’s front doors as an apparent prank. However, Royersford police said the act has caused significant damage to people’s homes, and they have released images of suspects they are looking for in their investigation.

“We get ding-dong-ditch, but for some reason, people/kids think it’s cool to kick doors and cause substantial amounts of damage to other people’s property,” police said in their CRIME WATCH release. “Plot twist: unless you find sitting in court fun, it’s not worth it. We however, enjoy court so we can play right back.”

Anybody who thinks they recognize the suspects or has any other useful information on the incident is urged to contact Officer Wood at twood@rofopd.org.
