Erika Jayne is staunchly standing by her accusation against Kathy Hilton.
During the final segment of the season 12 Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, Erika revealed that prior to her “meltdown,” Kathy hurled a homophobic slur at the manager of The Caribou Club, where the RHOBH cast were partying during their infamous Aspen, Co. trip.
“I see Kathy coming from the dance floor, very upset,” Erika said during the episode. “I say, ‘Kathy, what’s wrong?’ She says, ‘The DJ’s an old f–king f-g,’ and walked off.”
Kathy did admit that she was “frustrated” and appeared to try and explain her reactionary behavior, however, Erika doubled down on her stance.
“Those are your words. That’s what you said to me,” Erika said.
Kathy replied, “Never, ever.”
Andy Cohen and Bravo HR have a very strict anti-hate policy and launched an “internal investigation” into the matter and found that no liability was held as it was “a case of she said, she said.”
Erika has publicly been very vocal in her support of the LGBTQ+ community and prior to part three of the RHOBH reunion airing she issued the following statement, “I was there. It happened. What the ‘audience’ chooses to believe is beyond my control. I will never back down from the truth of what happened that night at the club in Aspen.”
According to an insider at Page Six, “Erika cares deeply for the LGBTQIA+ community. They have been by her side since the very beginning of her career, even before ‘Housewives,’ adding, “She had no other choice but to say something and take a stand. She wanted to make a statement: No one on her cast is going to attack the LGBTQIA+ community and go unchecked.”
Kathy has denied all allegations.
“I will admit to what I do, but I will not be painted to be this monster that you tried to.” She told Erika at the reunion.
