Škoda Auto has released initial design sketches revealing the cabin layout of its upcoming all-electric flagship, the Škoda Peaq.

The illustrations detail a spacious, three-row seven-seat layout focused on an updated digital user interface and sustainable materials ahead of the vehicle’s full debut next week.

The interior architecture centres around a horizontal dashboard configuration designed to maximize the feeling of cabin openness. For the first time, Škoda is implementing a vertically oriented central infotainment touchscreen. This primary display is paired with a compact digital instrument cluster ahead of the driver and a floating centre console to maintain a minimalist, visual layout.

To manage system complexity, the Peaq retains physical inputs for frequently used features alongside its large central touchscreen. Tactile physical controls remain on the dashboard for basic functions, including climate control and audio volume adjustments.

The configuration also features integrated ergonomic armrests positioned to support the driver’s arm while navigating the vertical display, alongside integrated magnetic wireless docks for efficient smartphone charging.

“Škoda puts the customer at the centre, designing a seamless user experience that connects the usability of the physical seven-seat interior with the digital experience around it, ensuring intuitive interaction and reducing complexity,” says Chan Park, Head of In-Car & UX Design at Škoda.

The aesthetic follows a “Lodge” design concept, which uses soft, textile-based surfaces juxtaposed with heavier, structural tactile elements. Škoda notes that the chosen materials are engineered for high durability and straightforward maintenance to suit everyday family use.

The official world premiere of the Škoda Peaq is scheduled to take place in Monnetier-Mornex, France, on June 23, 2026, at 18:25 CET, where technical specifications and production timelines are expected to be confirmed.
