Abhishek Bachchan is riding high after the success of his most recent film, Ghoomer. Ghoomer, starring Bachchan and Saiyami Kher, is directed by ace director R Balki. Ghoomer, the much-talked-about sports drama in which Abhishek Bachchan plays a cricket coach on the big screen for the first time, is receiving a lot of love and praise from cinephiles and critics alike.

Ghoomer, an inspirational story of triumph over tragedy, is striking a chord with audiences of all ages, as evidenced by the positive reviews. Following the praises of cricket legends such as Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, and Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar has also shared his honest review of the film and the performances by the lead star cast, which has left Abhishek overjoyed.

Sachin Tendulkar took to social media on Monday to share a special video in which he praised Ghoomer’s inspirational story. In a one-minute video posted immediately after seeing the film, the legendary cricketer praises it as a “extremely inspiring movie.” Apart from praising the film in the video, the cricket legend also wrote a special note praising Abhishek and Saiyami’s performances in the film.

Sachin, who was blown away by the story and the stellar performances of the star cast, wrote, “Really enjoyed watching #Ghoomer by #RBalki. It was truly inspirational and should be watched by all youngsters. @juniorbachchan was fantastic as the Coach, @SaiyamiKher looked very authentic, her love for Cricket and her ability to understand the character was amazing. @Imangadbedi was perfect as her constant support and @AzmiShabana ji’s one-liners made my day. Simply loved the film.”

Of course, Sachin Tendulkar giving his first-ever sports drama a positive review is a source of pride for Abhishek Bachchan. Thank you @sachin_rt for watching the film and even more for your words of praise and encouragement. It means the world to us. Lots of love.”

Angad Bedi and Shabana Azmi also play important roles in the film. Ghoomer was released on August 18th.
