(FOX40.COM) — Roseville’s three libraries will be closed on Monday as the city undergoes security upgrades to the three facilities, according to the City of Roseville.

The city said that new security gates are being installed at the Maidu, Martha Riley and Downtown Roseville library locations on Monday.

These gates will be located at the main entrance of each library and replace the existing gate system.

Roseville Parks, Recreation and Libraries told FOX40.com that the gate installation is scheduled for maintenance to ensure security levels are maintained.

The new gates are not in response to any recent or potential security threats, according to the city.

If returns are due during the planned closures, drop-offs can be made at the exterior return areas at the Maidu and Marth Riley libraries.

The closure is planned to last for a single day and all three facilities will reopen on Tuesday.

Roseville’s three libraries are located at:
• 1530 Maidu Drive
• 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd
• 225 Taylor Street
