The freshly crowned District 9-6A Champions are coming into the postseason with quite a bit of momentum. No. 18 Sachse (22-9, 16-0) will take on the Mesquite Lady Skeeters in the opening round of the playoffs next Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Mesquite (26-10, 6-6) enters the matchup having lost four straight games, and six of their last nine. Still, the Lady Skeeters have taken on quite a few of Sachse’s district foes and had similar success against the.

If the Lady Mustangs want to come out on top, it will take a strong showing. The two teams will square off at Berkner High School on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
