Most of the complaints were about the “overtly sexual nature” of the performance, but there were some other note-worthy mentions:
- Some people just want you to think of the children: “Come on people, there millions of kids watching this and you allow a sexual adult driven half time show.”
- Some people seem fixated on body parts: “She spread her ass cheek at the crack. She rubbed her pants where her labia were
three times.” - Some people went for overt racism: “WHY DO WE CONTINUE TO HAVE TO BLACK NOISE YEAR AFTER YEAR. THEY CAN’T SING OR WRITE ANY DESCENT MUSIC. ALL I HEARD WAS WORD WORD WORD WORD WORD WORD WORD WORDWORD WORD WORD WORDG. BLACK BLACK BLACK BLACK AND GO DOWN ON ME, GO DOWN ON ME GO DOWN ON ME OR GO DOWN ON YOU ETC.”
- Some people didn’t know who they were watching: “I was shocked by the halftime show by Shakira.”
- And then this guy: “As the super bowl drew to a close, Mr. Bradshaw was getting ready to interview Coach Andy Reid. Yet felt the urge to Fat Shame him on National TV, calling him “Big Guy, three times then saying “waddle over here””
