Jacqueline Laurita offered an update on her relationship with sister-in-law Dina Manzo earlier this week while appearing on Carlos King‘s podcast.

Before confirming she’s moving to Orange County, revealing if she has any regrets from her time on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and sharing where she stands with Danielle Staub, among other things, Jacqueline confirmed when she last spoke to Dina.

“The last time I talked to Dina, really, was when her father passed away [in April 2020],” Jacqueline revealed on the February 20 episode of Reality With The King. “We used to be super close. We used to go on vacations together.”

According to Jacqueline, she and Dina began feuding on the show and ultimately stopped speaking because of the drama. However, after Jacqueline learned of the violent break-in at Dina’s home in 2017, during which she and husband Dave Cantin were beaten by men allegedly hired by her ex-husband, Tommy Manzo, she spoke with her “a couple times.”

“I’m always open and willing to forgive people and be friendly with people,” Jacqueline stated. “[But] I think she had a harder time with letting go of the past so she kind of keeps her safe distance.”

Although Jacqueline and Dina are estranged, Dina has spent time with Jacqueline’s husband, Chris Laurita, in recent years.

“When he’s been in California, he’s had dinner with her. She’s been out to Vegas before and he’s met with her, but I haven’t really hung out with her,” Jacqueline shared before confirming things may change once she moves to California “in June.”

Recalling her seven seasons on RHONJ, Jacqueline said that while she doesn’t think she handled herself “well” in every moment, she doesn’t have regrets.

“I can’t say that I regret just because I always feel like, in life, things happen for a reason. Things happen to move you forward and grow from,” she explained.

Jacqueline also noted that during her time on the show, she often found herself in trouble with producers.

“I used to get calls from the producers, from the higher-ups because I wouldn’t do something. I would get in trouble,” she shared.

Jacqueline also upset producers when she didn’t show up to the season three reunion.

“I thought I quit at that point,” Jacqueline explained. “I don’t know if people realized, but we wrapped the season four finale the night before the season three reunion and were not in a good place. I had already shut down off of filming. I didn’t know my contract had me on there for another year, so I had to come back the next season, but I really felt like I couldn’t take any more.”

According to Jacqueline, her son Nicholas was at the height of his regression at that time, which made filming more of a challenge.

“He was not diagnosed but he was about to be diagnosed [with autism]. I was fighting with Teresa. It was just so much negativity and the whole stripper gate thing, that like, disgusted me,” she revealed. “I couldn’t go to the season three reunion and pretend like I’m great with Teresa. I seriously had the biggest breakdown. I just didn’t want any part of it. I cried. It was terrible.”

And, when it came to filming the season four reunion, Jacqueline heard that not only were producers bringing in Danielle Staub, but Kim Granatell was also going to be there.

“I’m texting Caroline going, ‘You’re the target tonight. Kim G.’s on her way.’ The finale, someone’s always the target and we wanted to know who the target was. So anytime I would hear something, I’d be like, ‘It’s you,’” Jacqueline shared.

As for how her daughter, Ashlee Holmes Malleo, is doing, Jacqueline confirmed she’s “good.”

“She’s got my grandson, Cameron, who’s now six. And he’s like the cutest thing,” Jacqueline gushed. “I love FaceTiming with him. It just sucks that he’s not here all the time … but I spoil him from afar and she’s a good mommy with him. She lives in New Jersey and I live here.”

Jacqueline also offered an update on her relationship with Danielle, revealing the two of them haven’t spoken since the season two reunion, where the two of them shared a hug.

“We had gone to do press and someone from the press outlet told me she was trying to give them, or sell them, stories about me. And I’m like, ‘What? I thought we made a truce,’” Jacqueline shared. “One of her friends or fans or whatever turned on her, starting sending me all their private DMs … She was telling [the] girl to attack me on social media … And then she was telling lies about my daughter to people … So I was like, ‘How can she just make this stuff up about people?’”

“That, to me, is a dangerous person, and I was just like, ‘I’m not having anything to do with her,’” she added.

Needless to say, Jacqueline is not open to reconciling with Danielle.

“No,” she declared. “Too many dangerous lies …. To me, I’d rather keep my distance.”

Also during the interview, Jacqueline revealed if she’d be open to appearing on a future season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip.

“Could I handle two weeks on a girls’ trip? Yes. I could handle it. I could have fun. Even if I fought for two weeks, it’s two weeks of my life, I could handle it. But realistically, I can’t do it because I don’t have a sitter for two weeks long for me to go on a trip like that to watch Nicholas,” she explained.

Then, when Carlos suggested it would be just seven days, Jacqueline said she could maybe “juggle it.”

“But if anybody wants to touch my boobies and vagina unwanted, I won’t say what I would do,” she added, giving a nod to Brandi Glanville‘s alleged actions against her other sister-in-law, Caroline Manzo.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
