Teddi Mellencamp revealed the text she received from Lisa Rinna after saying she was a “loose cannon” on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on the latest episode of her and Tamra Judge‘s podcast.
Before dishing on Denise Richards, her cancer status, Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais‘ hangouts with former castmate Lisa Vanderpump, and more, Teddi confirmed she reached out to Rinna in advance of the comment being made public and shared her reaction to what many took to be shade.
“She wrote, ‘Very sweet of you to give me a heads up but I know you and I love you and I know this is clickbait,’” Teddi revealed on the January 23 episode of Two T’s in a Pod. “She would’ve [gotten upset] if I would’ve said she deserves to be gone. She knows [she’s a loose cannon].”
Speaking of another ex-cast member, Denise, Teddi said she’s been blocked by the actress since her father, John Mellencamp, shaded her as “Dennis Richards” in a leaked text.
“Oh yeah. Of course. I’ve been blocked ever since my dad came for her,” she explained.
And after looking to see if she’d been blocked as well, Tamra confirmed, “She unfollowed me.”
According to Teddi, she had her fun with semi-popular actors in Hollywood before marrying husband Edwin Arroyave.
“If there was a [C-list] actor in Hollywood, I was out to find them. I wasn’t trying to [bang them]. I just did,” she confessed. “I can name two. You probably don’t even know who they are.”
She then offered an exciting update on her cancer battle.
“We found out that everything was good in my lymph node. That came back good,” she confirmed. “[And] today, I just got a text. It says, ‘Just so you know, the final three skin biopsies are benign. Nothing more needs to be done with them. Let me know if you have any other trouble…I’ll see you in three months.’”
Because she’d been quite vocal about her skin cancer diagnosis, Teddi faced backlash after traveling to Mexico for a girls’ trip. But as she explained, she’s taken the necessary precautions.
“I’m wearing a coverup, a hat, sunglasses 24/7, [I’m] under an umbrella [with] zinc on my back,” she shared.
As Teddi and Kyle Richards enjoy Mexico with friends, Rinna and Erika Jayne are fresh off a trip to Paris. And ironically enough, the French hotel where they stayed also hosted Vanderpump.
“LVP’s at the same hotel,” Teddi revealed.
Also speaking of Erika, Teddi said the RHOBH star offered her an important tip after she experienced red eyes throughout her early days on the show, revealing she was likely allergic to latex lash glue.
“I do a lot of things but I’m not a pot smoker. I don’t really get stoned. It’s not my thing. Maybe I’ll do half a gummy here and there,” Teddi explained of the rumors behind her bloodshot eyes of season eight.
After noting that she had been watching old seasons, Tamra said, “I really miss Lisa Vanderpump on [RHOBH]. I really do. She had some great one-liners. She’s funny.”
And Teddi agreed — to a point.
“She’s got her little script that she follows with her one-liner jokes and does all the things that she needs to do,” Teddi stated. “I’m fine if she comes back.”
As for Sutton and Garcelle’s recent hangouts with Vanderpump, Teddi admitted she isn’t a fan.
“What I don’t particularly love is Sutton and Garcelle doing the most to show that they’re in pictures with her,” she stated. “I’m like, ‘You were never on the show with her.’ … Sutton and Garcelle trying to create this narrative that they’re so close with LVP. All I wanna say to them is, ‘Yeah. I was there too. Good f-cking luck.’ The last joke’s on them.”
Also during the podcast episode, Teddi shared her thoughts on recent rumors suggesting musician Robbie Williams‘ wife, Ayda Field, may join the cast.
“My guess is that Ayda is not going to be on [RHOBH]. I know we talked about her last week. I dug in with one of my friends that is close with her and she said, ‘I can’t imagine that they would open up their life that much to the show,’” Teddi revealed.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to go into production before this month’s end.
