OHIO — Since it was first signed into law back in 2019, not a single Ohio prisoner has been released early under the Reagan Tokes Law.
That’s according to a report from the Marshal Project-Cleveland. The law is meant to protect the public by giving prison administrators exclusive powers to add time for people who break the rules behind bars.
Political Anchor Curtis Jackson talked with the director of the Beyond Guilt Project with the Ohio Justice Policy Center to learn more about the law and it’s implementation.
