Priscilla Presley’s audacity has no limit.
During Graceland estate negotiations (during which she was claiming fraud on daughter Lisa Marie removing her and appointing her own daughter as executor), Priscilla Presley wanted not only money, but to be buried next to Elvis at Graceland (who is flanked by the gravesites of his mother and father, with Lisa Marie directly across him and next to her son). The request would have required the estate to move a grave. The estate/Lisa’s daughter Riley Keough promptly shut her down, it was a non-starter and Priscilla backed down.
While Priscilla did not get her preferred final resting place, she still walked away with an impressive settlement. She will get millions in return for dropping her claims over who controls Lisa’s trust, which includes the Graceland mansion and a stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises. Riley will presumably now be sole trustee until her 14 year old sisters are of the age Lisa Marie stipulated.
Priscilla tells TMZ: “Although I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon. It is my family’s and my wish for me to be laid to rest with my daughter and the love of my life when that time comes. We appreciate the love from all of the fans.”
